DW makes new vacation videos (CD's) each year - but does anyone know what month the new one for 2003 becomes available? (Thanks in advance!)

Is this the 2003 video you're talking about?

As far as I know, I thought only the 2002, 100 Years of Magic Video was out. I could be mistaken however.

I called CRO to get it and asked the CM when 2003 came out. He put me on hold and came back and said that it was out! I will let you when it comes in.

I ordered mine through Disney's web site today, so I hope it's the 2003 version. Thanks for the tip GA girl.

I got an e-mail back from Disney today that said the 2003 video is not out yet and no release date is known.

Bumping this up . . . I was curious to see if anyone received any responses back

After I read this post I ordered a video through Disney's site, and since they only allow you to order one copy of the video per year (and I haven't heard back from them)I'm assuming that it is an updated version from the video I received earlier in the year. This coincided with a new post, so I figured I'd bump it up since a few people were checking. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have not received mine yet. But I just called again and the CM I spoke with said that it was the new 2003 video.
I will update as soon as I get mine.

PS: While I was talking to the very nice CM I told him how happy we were to have Early Mornings back. He was surprised I knew already. Said that just came out today. How did I already know about it. I told him "Intercot". [img]graemlins/clappy.gif[/img]

I received an email from WDW Online Guest Service a few days ago stating that traditionally the Vacation Planning Video for the following year comes out in October, like previously stated above. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well I guess the only way we will Know for sure is when someone gets the video.

So please let us know when you get it, if it is 2003 or not.

I have a blast from the past for you. DH bought an old video from a pawn shop yesterday. It was from 1995. It was great because it actually took you inside the main rides in each of the parks. Mind you they only had the three parks back then.

I saw a commercial today advertising the VP video, and it didn't mention 100 YOM at all. I don't know if that means the new one is out or not, but I thought it was interesting since they've extended the celebration through the end of next February.

I ordered mine through Disneys web site on Sept 11 and I just got an email from Disney today saying that due to popular demand, they are out of videos, but will have them in and I should receive mine in 3-4 weeks. No mention of whether it is the new one, but I hope it is!
