Walt Disney World & Disneyland Guest Relations has released the first official update on the status of the parks in several weeks:
While mostly devoid of any new information, the announcement may have been forced by the recent announcement form Universal Orlando regarding their re-opening on June 5, 2020.Originally Posted by Guest Relations
Local government officials have advised that the Walt Disney World resort is submitting their re-opening plans to local and state officials next week. Disneyland is expected to have drawn up similar plans, but does not currently have a time frame to submit those plans.
While details of these plans remain undisclosed, industry observers expect the plans to contain a restriction of daily ticket sales to 20% upon initial re-opening. This change would mirror the current policy to re-open Shanghai Disneyland. How this would be applied multiple parks at the Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts vs 1 park at the Shanghai Disneyland resort is unknown.
