Booking resort thru other sites
Has anyone ever used another site such as hotels.com or expedia to book their resort? The rates are about the same for the time of year I want to go, but if I book thru the other sites I can collect "free" days else where. What is the catch?

One draw back would be if any discounts are released for your dates, it might be much harder to add the discount or re-book.
Beyond that, be aware of the booking terms. Some of the sites require payment in full and require multiple days notice to Cancel.

Also, if you need to change the reservation for any reason, the change has to be done through the reservation site, not Disney directly. You are then subject to the site's change policies (not Disney's). If you wanted to change room type, that might not be possible if the site does not have the new room type in their inventory - even though it may be available through Disney.
