KLTA5 reporting:
A power outage shut down about a dozen attractions in Disneyland in Anaheim Wednesday, the company said.

Power was restored in Toontown by noon, while crews were still working on restoring power in some attractions in Fantasyland, Disneyland Resort spokeswoman Elva Rubalcava said.

There was an issue with a transformer, Rubalcava said. Park officials did not say when power will be fully restored.

“We have experienced a power outage near Mickey’s Toontown and Fantasyland,” the company said in a tweet at 2:34 p.m. “We are working diligently to restore power to the affected areas as soon as possible. Select offerings are now available such as Toontown and ‘it’s a small world’ Holiday.”

In a 1 p.m. tweet, the company said that Disneyland Park was only accepting guests for re-entry, while Disney California Adventure Park remained open.

The power outage comes as Disneyland, decorated for the Christmas season, is expected to see holiday crowds.
Not fun for those stuck on rides
