I was going through some old letters from a girl friend and came across a Blue Bayou menu that she had sent to me during the summer of 1975. The entrees ranged from $3.50 to $4.35. The Monte Cristo sandwich served with a fruit compote, considered a specialty, was $2.75. It costs 10 times that much now! Drinks were 25¢ and no dessert was over 75¢.
