Crowds Vs. Heat
So we are in the midst of completing our holiday vacation and yes it is the week of Christmas. Our other option is June or July. We just got from a July trip that was hot and had rain each day. We are staying on property, have AP's, so all good there. If we plan it the best we can are the crowds do able during the Christmas week? Any advice is also welcomed.
Thank you
PLEASE WAIT UNTIL THE RIDE COMES TO A COMPLETE STOP!!!

I hope you're a morning vacationer .... rope drop each park !! We have done NYE several times and each time we did rope drop and we rode pretty much everything we wanted, then headed back to resort for some rest and pool (if warm enough .. one year was, one year was not) .... then back to a park in the evening, using our FP's .... so yea, it's doable ..... have fun !!

I recommend that you consider AK or DHS for Christmas day as most guest try to go the MK and Epcot.
The last time I went at Christmas I did Epcot Christmas eve, and DHS Christmas day. The crowds at both were manageable. At DHS we really did not have much of a crowd to deal with till about noon time, when we were hearing from other guest that both MK and Epcot were at capacity and turning guest away.

After visiting during really crowded times (Spring Break) and really HOT times (end of June/middle July), I came to the conclusion you can avoid the heat by escaping to indoor attractions, restaurants, or shops, but if there are crowds, that is out of your control and you are stuck. I hate the heat and humidity, but crowds are the worst when you can't move or wait in lines for a long time for a short ride/attraction.

If you plan to do the summer route, I'd look at early June if possible. Lots of schools are still in until Mid June.

Christmas week is crazy, crazy busy. It's certainly doable if you can make FP+ and meal reservations ahead of time and realize that you'll have to be patient and won't be able to do all the rides/attractions. People who can take a deep breath and realize it'll be a crowded experience can handle it, people who want to go at their own speed and get annoyed by being stuck in traffic with the rest of the sea of humanity will probably get more frustration than enjoyment.

That's a tough choice. Can you plan for next year and have more options? We've been almost every time year and my two rules are no summer and no Christmas. If that's truly your only option I would go for early June as other have recommended. There are measures you can take to deal with heat, but when the parks are overrun with people it's out of your control.

Christmas week is one of the busiest times of year to visit Disney World. Early June is hot but, as others have mentioned, crowds are more manageable at that time of year.
