Tiffins
Can anyone tell me their experience at Tiffins? How's the food? Experience? We're going back for the Food and Wine at the end of Sept but want to sneak off one day to do FOP and eat here.

We did Tiffins on our last trip (June 2017) as part of the Rivers of Light dinner package. It was one of our favorite meals the entire trip. We can't wait to go back!
We frequent signature restaurants so in relation to other signature spots. The inside is lovely. It doesn't have the same appeal as say California Grill but its really nice done and our waiter was very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic. We shared the grilled octopus and a soup topped with shrimp. Both were very good. And there was a small complimentary bread service. Dinner, DH had the venison duo which was hands down the best thing he ate the entire trip. It was really superb. I had the waygu duo. The strip loin part was fantastic. At the time it was served with a short rib I believe and that part wasn't as great. They've updated the waygu entree to just the strip loin now it appears, which I think was a good choice.
They also had a very nice wine selection!

We (3 adults) ate at Tiffins for dinner as part of the ROL dinner package. Appetizers - bread service, Octopus and artisan cheese plate. Meal - seared scallops, roasted vegetable curry and swordfish. Dessert - we all had the key lime cake.
The atmosphere is quite relaxing, it truly is an oasis. Staff was excellent, but they really are pushing the very large wine menu. The food was excellent. Well prepared and wonderfully presented. Pricey would be the understatement.
As a once in a while place for dinner most certainly - especially for a ROL dinner package.

Thanks for the replies. Just makes me more excited, especially about the large wine list.
