Default Split Reservation and Magic Bands

With the room discounts over the next few months, We're finding that many on-site resorts are at higher occupancy levels. Having said this, our upcoming quick trip for October is split into 2 reservations at 2 separate resorts. Our MYW Package is attached to the 2nd reservation though, will our magic bands containing the package be activated on that first day of arrival the day before even if that package day does not begin until Day 2?

This is already a bit of a bummer as FP+ options for the 1st day cannot be made.

There is nothing, ever, "attached" to your band(s). Magic Bands are merely "keys" by which Disney's systems access your MDE account. Everything is a part of that account - resort reservations, ADRs, FP+, tickets, everything. If you have multiple bands from multiple trips (or from a split stay like this) they are all interchangeable. Tickets, as part of a package, are still just tickets - there isn't a start date attached to them. If your question is will you be able to use the tickets prior to your package trip, the answer is yes - that shouldn't be an issue. If you have dining plan entitlements, those are date related and you probably won't be able to use them prior to the start of your package.

Of course, like all things Disney (especially their compute systems), there is no guarantee that things will always work as they are "supposed" to.
