Default Adding a day to a one day ticket

If one buys a one day ticket, then decides that they want to add a day to it, when do you need to do that?

And can you keep adding days one at a time?

I am not real sure but if you would be staying at one of the resorts you would go to the concierge desk and they would either add it on or sell you an additional one. If you are not at one of the resorts I would check at customer service or a ticket Kiosk.

    Hope this helps...

You can add one day but it needs to be done before the park closes the day you start. You can upgrade only if there is a park entry on the ticket. So if you stayed until park closing and then went to guest services you would not be allowed to upgrade the one day ticket.

I know they limit the amount of times you can upgrade a ticket but I'm not 100% positive what that is. It was 2 times.

Thanks, we're staying off-site and trying to avoid waiting in a long line just to ask this question. I called, but I honestly think they gave me the wrong information. They told me that you have to do it before you enter the park. That doesn't make any sense to me. That would mean that you can't actually upgrade a one day. You would have to buy a two-day from the get-go.

    Hmm, hadn't heard that before.

    This is from Disney:
    Q.
Can I upgrade theme park tickets after they are purchased?
    A.
Yes. If it is within 14 days of a theme park ticket’s first use and the ticket has remaining admissions, you are able to upgrade the ticket. If it is more than 14 days after first use or if no admissions remain, then a ticket may not be modified or upgraded.

    Tickets Purchased Before 2005
You cannot upgrade tickets purchased before 2005. However, while older tickets cannot be upgraded, if an older ticket does not have an expiration date, the ticket remains valid until all admissions are used.

    Update Options
    Upgrades may include:

Upgrading a 1-Day Value Ticket to a Regular or Peak Ticket
    Adding days
    Adding the Park Hopper Option
Adding the Water Park Fun & More Option
Remaining admissions has always mean before park close while you could still go in. For instance, you leave the park to go for dinner, when you return later in the evening you still have admission back into the park. If that has changed this is the first I'm hearing of it BUT I don't put anything past them these days.
