Trading Quick Service

I have read that you are able to trade one quick service for 3 snacks as long as they are done in one transaction. My question may seem a little silly but i am wondering how much trouble it is to do this. Do you go to a store where snacks are sold and tell the cast member that you are trading one quick service for the snacks, and do they just scan your magic band? Thank you for your help!!!

Very simple and straight forward. Just tell the clerk you are using a qs credit, then scan band.

You can also exchange your dessert for a snack item at most qs locations.

We just did this on our last trip 3 weeks ago. While having breakfast, we mentioned to the waiter that we were leaving that day and he told us we still had 3 dining credits left. He also told us we could trade them in for snacks, which we didn't know! We went into the resort shop and they were worth 3 snacks each, so we walked out with a nice bunch of Disney goodies to bring home with us! I wish we had know the evening before though when we were at World Showcase, we would have spent it all at Karamel Kuche!

You have some good info above, but some places are kind of "sketchy" about this. We have done it several times and the last time, check out morning at the AKL gift shop, the CM had no clue what I was asking and finally another CM came by to help us out ....
