I made a typo in my original post, how can I edit it?

You can only edit it a few minutes after it's posted. After that it's not able to be edited.

could you also tell me how I can update/change my signature? When I go to my profile I don't see anyway to edit it.

You can always ask one of the Forum moderators to edit it for you once you are no longer able to edit it.

on top of the page on the right side there is a "settings" link. Under there you can then edit your signature.
