Online Check-in: Bypass Lobby?

If I do online check in, does this allow me to skip check in at the lobby? We are going to be in preferred rooms at CSR but generally do not make other requests. Can I go directly from Magical Express to a park bus stop?

Yes, but you may want to check with the front desk if you haven't chosen a payment method or pin for charging things to your room using your Magic Band.

I think you need to be paid in full to bypass the lobby. We had a room only this last January that want paid in full before we got there. We did the online check-in and still had to go to the check-in desk.

Not everyone will be given a room number text. I have always had to stop at the lobby, even with online check in.

We just returned from a 7-night stay at POR and this was the first time we used on-line check in. We received a text before we boarded our flight from ATL and were not pleased with the building we had been put in. We were able to call and have our building/room changed and received a new text with the new room #. We had a credit card/pin linked to our MagicBands before we left for vacation. Did not have to check out in the lobby either. Received a room folio in an e-mail the last day we were there. I would definitely use on-line check in again.
