Default Ohana vs 1900 Park fare Breakfast

Hello! I may be able to get both in on our next trip but I was wondering which breakfast folks thought was better. My son, 4, loves Alice in Wonderland, but I noticed on our last trip in April some character meals had better interaction than others. The best one was disney jr at DHS, they danced and did so much with the kids, he loved that. I paid a lot for Minnie's springtime dine and it was nice but just pictures really. I read somewhere that they do the dancing etc at Ohana, was wondering if anyone remembers that and also which you might think is better in terms of character interaction and fun. Thanks in advance.

WE have always loved the Character Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. Good interaction with the characters and wonderful quality and variety of food.

We have done both and while the characters are better at 1900 as Stich & Lilo are not as well known for our little princesses overall we love Ohana's a little more. Another excellent character breakfast destination is Tusker House at AK with Donald, Mickey and friends. We are doing this breakfast again on our upcoming trip.

We have done O'hana & 1900 PF numerous times. There is a big difference between them IMO. First off O'hana is served family style so there is no getting up and trips to the buffet. It is still all uou can eat but you need to requests refills from your server. This ensures that you will not miss any of the characters. There is a parade with the children & characters. Other than the parade, the character interaction was quite rushed. There was some antics but not to the extent that we experienced at other restaurants such as Cape May or Crystal Palace. The room is rather spacious and the high ceilings really tends to cut down on the noise. The food was typical breakfast fare. You can get a pot of Kona Coffee here and the juice blend was awesome.

1900 PF is a great breakfast buffet with tons of choices for kids & adults including many toppings for waffles & blitzes, an omelet station, and strawberry soup. The characters seem to depend on your interaction with them as well as which ones they are. Alice is more fun when she crosses paths with the Mad Hatter at the table otherwise she is a little quiet. Mary Poppins always was more formal & quiet. The Mad Hatter & Pooh were always great. The room is rather small & felt a little cramped but not horrible as some other restaurants. It also tends to get a loud in this venue.

I think you need to consider which characters are important to you as well as the food options. If seeing Alice is crucial for your daughter than I would not hesitate to choose 1900 PF. Have you considered Cape May or Crystal Palace - the characters at these two locations have always been top notch and the interaction some of the best we have ever had.

They are both very good breakfast places !! I'd say it's a little more fun for a child at O'hana tho

Thank you all so much for your responses! We have been to cape may and crystal palace. The thing he loved the most was the parading around and dancing that the characters did with them at H&V at DHS, so it sounds like Ohana is a must and 1900 park fare if we can squeeze it in. Again thank you for the infromed opinions.

We absolutely LOVE Ohana brunch. The food is amazing, and my kids have a blast dancing around and meeting Mickey and the gang. I highly recommend it. The food has always been excellent, especially for the price. And I love that it's served family style- with little kids, its a pain to have to constantly be up and down for a buffet...mama always gets her plate last! I love that I can sit back and relax at Ohana. It's one of our must-dos!
