Roll-in Shower Rooms at Poly and Wilderness Lodge

Hi Everyone, been awhile posting but have been reading regularly. Hoping some of you very knowledgeable people can help. Planning for last week Nov/ first week Dec 2018 ( yes I know early ) - and lovely hubby says look at the Poly or Wilderness Lodge!! YAY! On looking it appears that these hotels have only a small number of wheelchair rooms with roll in shower, like 3 or 4!!! I found this very surprising due to their size. Is this correct?? You see, although hubby not confined to wheelchair, he is not steady enough on his feet to step into a bath ( even with handles) and stand to shower. Far safer to walk and sit.

I have read that Disney has a special telephone number for reserving rooms for people who have special needs. I believe they will guarantee that you will get the accommodations that you require. Hopefully someone will chime in here who has more knowledge of this.
