Has anyone ever done one of the Carriage rides at either Fort Wilderness or Port Orleans? Is it worth the $$$ and what was it like. Good things and not so good things> Thanks in advance.

My lady friend and I have taken the ride at Port Orleans 3 times. It is a very nice leisurely ride. There are a couple of routes that they can take. One will take you through the Port Orleans Riverside area, and the other will take you to Port Orleans French quarter area.
I think that it is worth the $$ but that is just us and we would do it again. I would give it a try. You will need to make reservations as the rides fill up pretty quickly..
Hope this helps..

Coronado Springs 2019
I sent my parents on a carriage ride at POR in September. They loved it, they said it was beautiful and very relaxing. I got a discount by showing my Disney visa as well.
They are 2 different locations. one is more rustic, Wilderness campgrounds. We have done this many times. The only time we had a bad experience was in the spring when it was a very wet that year. The misquitoes were terrible. We were bit many times. The POFQ we have done twice and both times very much enjoyed it. This location is less private so if you want romantic I would say WL.
First trip May 1996 and many since
