How Far Ahead to Book Golf Cart?
As we keep making plans for our first stay at the FW Cabins, I'm thinking we will need a golf cart, at least for the days we are planning to stay at the campground all day.
How far in advance do they need to be booked? Do the ever "run out"?

They do run out so I would book as early as you are able. By the by, I've stayed at Fort Wilderness a number of times and never have bothered with a golf cart much to my daugher's disappointment!!

We reserved a golf cart several months in advance for our last trip in November. We tried to reserve a golf cart for 6, but they cannot guarantee one will be available. So subsequently we had to rent a cart for 4 ( it was a tight squeeze, but very fun.) From now on we will always rent a golf cart when we stay at the Fort Wilderness Cabins.

As soon as you can book one. They go fast. I love getting a golf cart we love staying on the grounds and driving around. My DS loves it more than the parks sometimes..lol We just booked 4th of July and I reserved it now (just to be sure we get one) they are $59. a day, but they are worth it. They will take a credit card to hold it not charge it until you are there. and you can always cancel up until a the day before you go..
Been there, done that and going back!!! See ya real soon !!!

I just rented one through Kenny's Tee Time at the rate of $35 a day. The woman I spoke to was extremely pleasant. The only thing is you have to pick it up off property and return the same way. Not a big deal for us, especially when savings about $250.
