Metal Detector update

I was reading some posts from a couple of years ago regarding metal detectors and wondered if they now exist. Anyone know? Thanks so much!

Metal detectors have not been added to the parks. There is still bag check.

I hope they don't. The bag check is a pain as it is. Especially since most folks now back enough stuff to invade normandy.

I love that they check bags !! It's gives me comfort knowing they are concerned with my safety.

If that worked for safety, they'd only do that at the airport.

It's for show, nothing more. If safety was a real issue, it'd be just like the airport and/or ban strollers and bags.

I am one for saying.........check away and I will stand in line as long as I have to for it. My personal opinion is that I don't think it is very thorough. They seem to do a quick look and then a nod to enter. I hope I am wrong though.

Have to bring the bottles from first class. Bringing pints is just plain foolish.
