I made reservations for Kona cafe for our trip but someone said Cooks was cheaper for the same thing? Is this true? What's the difference? Keep Kona or go to Cooks?
Sao Feng... He's alot like me, absent my merciful nature and sense of fair play.
The Kona version has a strawberry compote sauce on the side and comes with ham, bacon, or sausage. The Capt. Cook version is just the toast. We prefer Kona, especially with a pot of pressed coffee the we linger over. If you're just eat and go then Capt. Cook would be better.
I like my Tonga Toast without the banana, and at Capt. Cook's you must get it with the banana, so Kona it is. It use to be a 'must do' for me, but not so much any more. It's still wonderful, but just not as important. Too many other choices.

I despise bananas - so you can get Tonga toast without the banana? Do they stuff it with something else or is it just plain?
My daughter and I went to the counter service at the
Poly to try the Tonga toast. We loved it and everyone Said it was the exact same. Also, we used our free dining counter service.
