 DVC Magic band slider
Anyone know how to get the DVC Magic band sliders?

They were being shipped with the bands for the last year or so but I've heard they discontinued them. I should be getting my bands next week so I'll know for sure.

Magic band Sliders
Got ours last week.. Sliders are no more.
Trips planned for 2016......

We got sliders in March for an April trip. On one hand it was nice because cast members could easily recognize you as AP or DVC but maybe they don't want to point that out?

We had them on our last trip and met other DVC Members who did not get them. Weird. Not sure why they discontinued them. I know we got a bunch of questions about DVC from other park guests. Seems like pretty cheap advertisement

That is a bummer. I know that it prompted Cast Members to ask me for my DVC card to get the discount. Some didn't even need the card. They would just give it based on the wristband.
But I did run into a few this year that wouldn't give the discount at all unless you had the card. They claimed Disney was cracking down because too many people were taking advantage of it.
And I never knew it was called a "slider." I always called it a doo-hickey.
