Disney gift cards ???

If you start buying up Disney gift cards now, do they have an experation date or will they be good like six months for now... I thought I could buy gift cards from now till our trip and use them for shopping money at DW..

They do not have an expiration date. They also do not charge you a fee (like some gift cards do) if you don't use them for an extended period of time.

And they are very easy to recharge on line ... that is what we do with our Disney Visa points .....

Unless something has changed very recently, Disney gift cards cannot be reloaded on-line. They can only be reloaded in person at a Disney retail location.

Disney Visa Rewards cards CAN be reloaded with more Rewards Points, but that's a completely different thing from a regular ol' Disney Gift Card.

Don't forget Target card has the discount for gift card purchases. I don't recall but maybe 5%.

Also at Sam's Club.. it works out to 5% but you have to buy (3) $50 gift cards.

Just a quick note on gift cards, if you are paying off your vacation balance with gift cards to keep the cards in a safe place after your paid. If for some reason you need to cancel they just refund the gift card.
