    Default Main Street curbs?

Am I crazy or did Disney not announce that they were "flattening" all of the curbs on Main Street?

On our trip last month my wife and I took all of 30 minutes to realize that this trip was NOT going to be our first without strollers (4 & 7 year olds) and trying to navigate Main Street, especially with the construction barricade on a portion of the sidewalk, really focused me on the fact that, as far as I could tell, the curbs remain unchanged.

Did they remove some but not all, or delay the project, or am I crazy?

Disney did not announce that, people assumed that was the case when they changed the curbing by The Emporium.

I have not heard any such announcement from Disney. It would be a lot of work to do that.

They flattened the curbing around Town Square and the Hub some time ago (2006ish, maybe?). Are they flattening the curb all the way down the street?

There was work done on the concrete in 2013. That was when the rumors started about flattening the curbs. The discussion surrounding that can be found here.

Wow, thanks for the link! I guess it turns out I wasn't crazy, I just didn't realize at the time that most of the discussion in that thread was speculation instead of something Disney published.

No curbs would be a great idea for the wheelchair/scooter users.
