    Default Fourth of July

We were at WDW two years ago on the fourth. We enjoyed it but wow was it crazy. We will be there this year from the 1-8th. I have seriously thought about going to mk on the second, Epcot on the 3rd and taking the fourth off staying at the resort. We will be staying at the YC this year. My family includes my DH, DD 6 and DD 10. What do u think?!? Play at pool?!? What could we do that night?!?

    Thanks.

Maybe a round of mini golf or some boardwalk games? The BC may have some activities in the evening too along with marshmallow roasting and a movie on the beach.

We were at WDW on the Fourth of July last summer and didn't go to the parks that day and opted to hang out at the resort instead. We were staying at the GF and went to the pool most of the day and they had special activities planned, beside their normal pool games, etc. (I am sure the BC/YC will have the same) Went to dinner at the resort and then watched the fireworks from MK and on the Seven Seas Lagoon, which were beautiful.

You could hop on the bus/monorail and go to the resorts and watch the fireworks from the GF area/marina.

Since you are staying at YC I think a day at the pool and dinner at the resort or on the Boardwalk would be a great way to spend 4th of July. You could end the day with the beach fire and movies.

If you are looking for something more, perhaps spending the day (or a portion of it) at a waterpark.

Thank you for the suggestions! I think we will just stay put that day and enjoy the pool and activities that might be happening that day. I haven't made dinner reservations yet. I might wait and see how the day goes.
    Thank you once again.

On a busy holiday, don't expect to be able to get same day table-service dining reservations. I've been at Disney on other holidays such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day when folks were getting turned away at the podiums of table service restaurants and being referred to quick service locations with the explanation that there were no table service reservations to be had at any location.

The Captain's Grille at the YC has really good food. We had both dinner and breakfast there and really enjoyed it.

I wouldn't wait and see how the day goes regarding ADRs. At the very least, make one for one of the places at the Epcot area that you can walk to. Otherwise, plan on CS or just maybe eat at the Crew's Cup Lounge (inside YC which actually has very good food). Or, worst case, you order room service.

I think I will go ahead and make reservations. Either Captain's Grille or the Brewery at the BW. Thank you so much
