I was more than pleasantly surprised the first time I stayed at Coronado Springs. I thing we've stayed there three or four times in total. The grounds are lovely. We enjoyed being able to sit out by the lake and relax. We also found that the amenities at this resort more closely resemble the deluxe resorts rather than the moderates. Enjoy!!

Great experiences? MANY! It's by far my favorite moderate, with many deluxe amenities. I've lost count how many times we've stayed there. You can't beat how beautiful it is as well, especially at sunset. Enjoy!

CSR is our favorite resort! We have stayed there 2 times and booked another trip there for November! Love Pepper Market, Maya Grill, Panchitos, Dig Site. Just awesome and easy bus on/off no wait!

We stayed there a couple of years ago. It's a nice moderate resort and the staff was very helpful.

We stayed here in 2011 and really liked it, so we came back for another week at the Food & Wine Festival in 2012.

    Our random thoughts/comments:

    1) Took a while to check-in. The young lady was training. Quite pleasant.

    2) We had requested a room (king bed) in Casitas 5. We wound up in in Casitas 4446 facing the parking lot. When told that that our request could not be granted, a supervisor came over and apologized several times.

    3) Room was clean and comfortable. A bit dark and the lighting needs to be improved. Plenty of hot water and a high enough shower head were a plus. We stocked our fridge. Really a nice location - close enough to El Centro with the gym and laundry in the same building.

    4) Laundry is expensive - $2.75 to wash and $2.75 to dry.

    5) The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Fountains and lights were working and maintenance done daily.

    6) The stairways and outer hallways were in rough shape. Desperately need a good cleaning and painting. The elevators were beat and scratched up as well.

    7) A really great location if you have a car. Once we got our bearings, it was easy to get to any park or hotel. We did find that there are very few signs that actually mention CSR by name.

    8) The buffet at the Pepper Mill was quite a pleasant surprise. All you-can-eat buffet with fresh fruit, pastries and a made to order omelet station. $14.99 for adults or 1 QS meal. We understand that this option no long exists.

    9) This year we found our how this pleasant peaceful resort can change when a convention of 3,500 life insurance agents from around the world descend. The last two days the resort was frenetic and any place to get food or drink was overwhelmed.

    10) We really liked and used the free refillable resort mug.

We truly like staying here and will do it again. Even with the large convention, we still had a great stay and found it a great place to relax and recharge.

I stayed in CS in 2012 and loved it. Found the staff friendly, the grounds were lovely and very clean. Loved our room. To get from some rooms to the lobby is a pretty good walk but as long as you dont mind that it's awesome. We loved the walk - saw lil lizards sometimes and when the sun was coming up it was beautiful. Enjoy!

Our first time staying on property was at Coronado Springs so it's our sentimental favorite.

    • Great Restaurant
    • Great Pool Complex
    • Beautiful Surroundings
    • Pepper Market is my favorite food court

We are returning there this September and I am very excited. Enjoy your stay there.

I've stayed at Coronado Springs three times; it truly is my favorite moderate resort and up there in the top five for favorite resort overall. The gardens and courtyards are beautiful and peaceful, and I love the sliding privacy door to the sink area (much better than the curtain some of the other resorts have). The Dig Site pool complex is amazing, with the largest hot tub on property. I would recommend staying in either either Casita or Cabana buildings. Have fun!

We love CSR! The rooms are nice and big, the grounds are gorgeous, the pools are well maintained and not crazy busy, the bus waits are less than other resorts... We really have nothing bad to say.

Our last visit this last September was with my parents on their first on site Disney trip. They went nuts for CSR. They even went so far as proclaiming it their best resort and vacation ever! We are going back this coming November with my sister and her family too and my parents want to go back to CSR (even though my nieces want a Royal Room at Riverside!). Just waiting to see how that's going to play out...

Enjoy every second of your vacation! You will have an amazing time!

What's not to say about this place!?! Their beds are way more comfortable than the other moderates. Its more of a deluxe resort imho. Its very private. The bathroom doors are really neat and ornate. The swimming pool is great fun, great slide, and the hot tub is the biggest on property. Their food is fantastic. Breakfast at AOA is terrible, breakfast here is great. I think you will really like Coronado Springs. Its an all around great place to call home for a few days.

Love it. I was worried about the size as my lovely bride has congestive heart failure and it can be tough on her to walk too much. It was not a problem at all, but we stayed in the Cabanas. The Ranchos were a little too far out for us. The biggest highlights for me were the quiet nature of the resort. I love the parks, but it sure is nice to come back to a quiet resort. The pool/slide is the best one we have had yet at Disney. Absolutely the best part of this resort, was the transportation. We had excellent experiences with the buses to parks.

I was trying for a villa for end of October but no luck so now looking at CSR. The resort looks pretty big. Are there bus stops throughout? Do the rooms have coffee makers in them??

We stayed there for the first time last year. We truly loved it. I t is a really beautiful resort, not far to any of the parks.
they have 4 bus stops the main is the last. We had a preferred room right by the work out room. Had the first bus stop. Would gladly stay there again.

I always call it a Deluxe resort in a Moderate package. The only thing Moderate about it is external entry ways to the room. Everything else is Deluxe.

This is easily my favorite WDW resort. It's a shame they don't have rooms for families of 5.

We love the Rancho section. Got put there against our request the first time and we ended up loving that area. The fact you get to walk through the great resort to get to anywhere make this area very nice. Just so beautiful there.

The pool is nothing short of amazing. Great Aztec temple. Great slide. Love it.

We've been able to see the fireworks from Epcot from our Rancho room both times we were there. That's a really cool bonus.

If you're on the DDP, the Pepper Market is a great value. It's a CS credit where you can get TS type food.

C'mon Disney!!!! Start adding some rooms that fit 5 so I can go back there.
