    Default Which Value Resort?

For those of you experience in staying at the Value resorts - which would you recommend? I've only stayed briefly at the Movies. The Art of Animation intrigues me the most.

It's great for kids, but as an adult, I couldn't stay there more then a day or two without them. The food court is excellent and the pool is huge. Try to stay in one of the building close to Animation Hall so you are close to everything.

I've stayed in Movies, Music, and Pop Century. Honestly, I didn't see a huge difference between them. Art of Animation looks very cute, and might be nicer since it's newer, but I haven't stayed there. If it was up to me, I'd stay at a moderate to deluxe range hotel, but my kids just go gaga over the theming at the value resorts and when you're running around with kids all day, it's just not worth it (at least to me), to pay for a pricier hotel.

You might look into the bus schedule and how it relates to the individual resorts (if that matters to you). I think movies is the last drop off, which, after a long day at the parks is not fun!

I forgot to add that the Art of Animation has its own bus, that's always a plus too...

We prefer Pop Century. It is a little cheaper than Art of Animation. I guess there is a little $ premium since it is newer. Pop Century has it's own bus which is a little nicer than the All-Stars. But really, the difference is so small I'd try to rotate each one in over the years.

We've stayed at all the values except AoA. Our preference is POP, larger food court & no bus sharing.

Pop gets my vote, though we've enjoyed staying at Movies.

If you are going to stay at the All Stars, I prefer All Star Sports since it is the first bus stop. Those 3 resorts share busses and it can get to be full rather quickly.

I like POP and All Star Music.
The busses are fantastic no matter what resort you use and they all have pretty nice food courts.
I just like Music the best concerning the all stars
While at all star music i have never got on a full bus headed to the parks....We have headed back from the parks. But thats a non issue. Its not that long of a ride and what the hay..its free.

Our preference is POP, have stayed at AoA which was nearly brand new at the time, but I don't think it's worth the price increase from POP. Perhaps because it's larger POP seems less crowded to me.

We typically only have stayed at the values on our first or arrival night and if I drop the DD off for her seasonal work. We really like POP the best. The food court is good and the busses are great, no sharing at all. The AoA costs more than POP. The hourglass lake is a great run trail if you like to run.

We have stayed at all the values and prefer POP. To me it has a great feel. It is also nice to be able to walk over to AofA to eat. The food is much different then other resort food courts.

I have stayed at all of them and I don't really have a favorite. I think it depends on the kids and what they feel like doing. We stayed at Sports with Baseball and that was awesome, but staying at sports means a lot of teams staying there and that means heavy bus lines and food court lines and the ever loving CHEERLEADERS ..LOL. Movies I think are more for the little ones if you have them, they like the theming of their mine loved staying in the "Woody" building. Music was our first and it was cool, but nothing they would want again. POP, is a great choice because they have their own buses. That is great at night. Animation My DS loves because it's new and looks great.. He loves the Nemo pool with the music under water and the décor is awesome too. I think all the food courts are about the same. Although last time we ate at Movies the breakfast was great. We are going there this time just for that..lol

The rooms are all the same layout. With decor to match the resort. The stores are the same just each one has something to offer for that resort.

Price: Sports, Movies, POP pretty much run the same Music is more because they offer the suites. Animation regular rooms which are the same exact room as the other three is more expensive right now. Only because it's the newest one.

Whichever one you choose you will enjoy
Been there, done that and going back!!! See ya real soon !!!

DH and I have stayed at POP and AoA (a couple times at each).

We really like AoA. POP was nice, too, but we prefer AoA. The theming is wonderful, and we like the AoA food court better. The layout is very nice, and the food was excellent.

We stayed in the Little Mermaid section, Ursula building, facing the pool. We could see Illuminations from outside our room on the upper floors, which was a cool touch that we weren't expecting one night!

I have been to Art of Animation which is very good, but if you want to save money I'd go to Pop, it's also very good.

Haven't stayed at AoA, but we loved POP for what it is. It's nicer than the other values because it's newer and its own bus line is great.

I have stayed at all of the values. Really depends on you and what you like. Pros and cons with each of them as with all resorts.
One of the cons to me of AOA. If you are saying in the regular Little Mermaid rooms, those are the farthest from the buses and food court. It can be a long walk after a long day at the parks. Plus just to far to run grab a snack or fill up your drink mug.
I love the theming at Pop but younger children might prefer the theming at the ASMO or Sports. While Pop does have its own buses the resort is large and at times can be very long lines at the buses. Our last trip in early November there were a couple mornings we waited in line for 3-4 buses before we were able to get on.
