    Default Qs dining

we are doing quick service dining for our trip later this month. Any unique counter service places we need to hit, that would provide a change of pace from the basics??

Depending on where you're staying, I love the "make your own pasta" at some of the resorts (like POR), it is two meals worth of food! Generally, resort CS is much better that what you'll find in the parks, with lots more choices.

In the parks, we like Flame Tree BBQ at AK, Cosmic Ray's at MK has some good choices and (if you like trying some different stuff) anywhere around World Showcase can be a yummy change. DH loves the noodle "place" (according to him) in Japan.

World Showcase offers lots of great choices. I love Tangierine Cafe (Morocco) and Katsuru Grill (Japan). Sunshine Seasons is very good(Epcot Future World). Flame Tree BBQ at Animal Kingdom is always a good choice. Starring Rolls has some good sandwich/bakery options at DHS. Columbia Harbour House in MK has some good options.

And some of the resorts offer unique items in their QS places. Captain Cook's at the Poly, the AKL's Mara...

A second vote for Sunshine Seasons at Epcot. We also like fish and chips at Yorkshire County Fish Shop (just a walk-up window by Rose & Crown).

I am looking forward to trying the Yak and Yeti counter-service (at AK) in January. Flametree BBQ at AK is our go-to quick-service there.

Columbia Harbor House and Cosmic Ray's offer more than just burgers and hot dogs at Magic Kingdom.

As far as out of the parks, Boardwalk Bakery for a breakfast is a great option. Mara at AKL has lots of unique choices.

If you're looking for a location at DHS, Backlot Express serves some different salads and sandwiches in addition to the normal fare.

All the parks have very good choices for QS, the trick is finding one that will accommodate everybody in your party.

EPCOT - Tangerine Café in Morocco
Animal Kingdom - Yak & Yeti
    Magic Kingdom - Peco's Bills
    Hollywood Studios - Backlot Express

All have multiple options that are not your standard burger and fries options.

There are many QS locations that we love just as much as a TS...
Riverside & the FQ have great food courts
EC = Yorkshire Fishe Shoppe and Sunshine Sea
AK = Flametree BBQ and Pizzafari
    MK = Peco's Bills, Tortuga, & Casey's Corner
    HS = Pizza Planet
DtD = Earl of Sanwich and Splitsville

I am sure I'm missing some, but these are our favorites. !!!!

    Some of our favorites:

MK - Columbia Harbor House - I had a fantastic lobster roll in December. I also love their fried shrimp.

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons - so much variety

DHS - ABC Commissary - I had the Couscous Quinoa & Arugula Salad with Salmon - Salmon was cooked perfectly, and the salad was delicious. Had a glass of Pinot Grigio with it... Very nice!!

    AK - Flame Tree BBQ

    My favorite CS locations:

DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express - in my opinion this is the best CS in all of Disney. You are getting high quality food that is like a TS for a CS entitlement. My family eats here several times over our trip.

    MK -
BOG - Love all of their food!
    Cosmic Rays

    EP
    Sunshine Seasons

    AK
    Flame Tree BBQ
Restaurantasourus (sorry for the spelling) - they have a salad that my mom just loves here.

    HS
Backlot Express - I love buffalo wings but I typically don't eat them at Disney because I won't pay more to get them somewhere when I've already got the free CS plan. Here they have buffalo nuggets. That satisfies my need for buffalo. So yummy!
    1984 - Contemporary
    1989, 91, 92 - Caribbean Beach
    1992, 94, 95 - Dixie Landings
    2002 - Caribbean Beach
    2007, 08, 10 - Pop Century
    2012 - AOA
    2013 - Caribbean Beach
    2014 - Pop Century
    2015 - POR / Yacht Club
