Christmas party

We are going to MVMCP for the 2nd time in December. We had done it previously in dec 2011 but I felt like we didn't do it right...basically only saw the parade from frontierland (which I didn't like that spot) and ate cookies and hot chocolate.

What order do you usually do the party? I want to hit all the major things, we are already doing another day in MK so not worried about riding rides.

I'm not a Christmas Party expert, but for me, some of the highlights are: meeting the characters (get in line early, even before the party "officially" starts) for the rare ones, like the Seven Dwarfs, the parade (the second parade is always quieter than the first one, especially if you want to watch it from Main Street (which is rather magical in itself) and the fireworks.

I start with characters, hop on rides with a short wait while working into position for the fireworks and parade.
