Default Tackling 4 parks in a day

My two daughters and I have decided to tackle a new challenge of hitting all 4 parks in one day on our visit next month and we're trying to figure out the best order. We were thinking Studios, then Epcot, AK, and then finish at Magic Kingdom because it's open until midnight. We figure we can get on ToT and RnR with minimal wait at park opening, use FP for Soarin and TT at Epcot, head to AK in the late afternoon, and then off to MK for a big finish.
Any thoughts to make our plan/challenge better?

Check the front page of Intercot. One of our mods just did that this past week and let the Intercot folks on FB and Twitter participate by requesting things for pictures. You could do that with your family. Kind of like a scavenger hunt.

Your plan is similar to what we'd do, and have done for 3 parks in one day, rather than four. Our group included people from 8 years old up to 76. We left off Epcot. And we did use Disney transport exclusively, figuring about an hour each time, for lines, etc, to give us plenty of time.

We opened the Studios - on a regular opening day - and did what we could do by 11 am, a time we arbitrarily selected. We did manage Toy Story, RnRC, ToT and Star Tours. We then went to AK for lunch (Flametree) and a couple of rides; some of our group did EE and Dino while others did things at the area with Primeval Whirl. About 3:30 we transferred to MK to be there in time for the 5 pm Flag Retreat, supper and then the 8 pm parade. We also split up here, with some doing the Mtns while others rode the train and other more sedentary attractions. We left after the parade as MK was packed enough it was difficult to walk.

Some folks like to decide how many attractions should be done at each park, and if meals need to be eaten at each park, or as Chris suggested, photos to be taken. We merely decided what time we needed to leave each park, leaving what to do at each park up to lines, weather, etc. We did each have some must do attractions, like ToT or EE or the Flag Retreat.

As for your Epcot plans, I don't think you can get fp+ for both Soarin' and Test Track. However, I would not do fp+ for the Studios, or whichever park you open, and do fp+ for Epcot. Doing AK third should allow you to do what you want with less wait time. Same with MK, with the exception of the meet and greet with Anna and Elsa and the 7 Dwarves Mine Ride.

    Good Luck!

We did it a few years ago just because we could. It was fun and challenging. It's not something I'd do all the time but we enjoyed it.

DD and I did it a couple of trips ago, and it was a BLAST!

We set a rule of at least one attraction in each park, a photopass picture at each icon, taking every type of Disney transport (bus, boat, monorail) and meals/snacks. We chose a CS and a TS meal ... it was fun, and we loved every minute of it.

Set some "rules" and see if you can meet them (while still enjoying yourself).

I do this almost every trip. I try to go to AK on early entry day, then epcot, the studios and MK for late night. Works out well for most trips.

    Good luck and have fun!

We did a "crazy day" at Disney this past May. We didn't visit Disney Studios, but did MK twice. We started at MK, took the monorail to Epcot, took a bus from Epcot to AK, then took a bus back to MK to finish out the day. It was lots of fun! We had reserved our fastpasses for the three mountains at MK for that evening. I know that in May, the Epcot fastpasses were on a tiered system which meant you could not get a fp for both test track and soarin'. By the time we arrived at Epcot (around noon), there were 80 minute waits for both attractions. However, we were able to get onto test track in 10 minutes via the single riders' line. Unfortunately, we did not ride Soarin' that day, but it was the only attraction we wanted to do and didn't. Expedition: Everest is also a great one on which to take advantage of the single rider line! For meals, we ate lunch at Pecos Bill's in the late morning at MK and dinner at Columbia Harbor House in MK that evening. Wonderful day
Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death,
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.

We did this several years ago, so we could say we had done it. It was one of those things that was fun to accomplish and I'm glad we did it, but don't really have any desire to do it again. It takes a lot of energy and some good planning, and we used FP's a lot to avoid any long lines so we could do more than just walk in each park and go. I'd say we rode at least 4-5 attractions at each park. That may be hard to do these days.

We did this by starting at AK on an early entry day at 8:00 am. Got there at rope drop and did EE, KS and a few others. Then went to DHS and rode all the biggies (this was before TSM opened). Ate lunch at DHS. Left there in early afternoon and went to Epcot where we stayed the longest. We rode Mission Space, Test Track and Soarin'; did a few things at Innoventions, and toured several countries in WS. We had ADRs for dinner at Teppan Edo, and then watched Illuminations. Then rode monorail to MK, which was open until 2:00 a.m. that night. We actually rode many more rides at MK because by 11 p.m. most rides were only a 10 minute wait or less. Got back to hotel at about 3:00 a.m. It was a loooonnng day. We were exhausted. Our boys, age 13 and 10 at the time, fell asleep the minute we got on the bus back to the hotel. But they bragged about that day at WDW to all their friends for years!

We did that once and actully hit everything we wanted with each park. It was crazy and a bit tiring, but for a one time thing it was fun. We rope dropped the first park and just went from there. I'm pretty sure it was a time when the last park didn't close till very late. Have fun !!
