First time using Fastpass+...Help!!

We are going to be in WDW Oct. 29 through Nov. 9 and this will be the first time since magic bands and fastpass+ began. I figured out how to handle DHS and AK since we are only planning on one full day in each of those and don't have as many 'MUST DO'S'. When it comes to MK and EC I am stuck! It will be 3 of us, 2 in scooters, but 2 of us can go on any kind of rides. My problem is determining which 3 to choose on which days since we have 4 days in MK and 4 in EC. There are some (like POTC) that we want to do each day so do I need to make a fastpass for it each MK day? Will standby lines still be do-able like on our last trip (same time of year)? Any advice would be appreciated! I feel like I'm planning my first trip!

Don't understand your question. Can all three of you ride POTC? If only one person can ride any rides, then I would book 9 different experiences and switch out bands for that lucky person. If your saying that you can't do the mountains, but one person can, then you can split your party up when you book fast passes. The line for POTC was long, but doable without a FP+ In June, same as HM. My feeling for FP+ at MK, the mountains, the mine ride and Peter Pan. Belle and character meets if you like that kind of thing.

We're here right now, and have generally found that wait times are about the same as last year. FP+ doesn't seem to have mucked it up too much (with a few exceptions!)

So, if it is a MUST DO, then book a FP+ for it. Otherwise, we've still found that getting to the parks early is super, and we can get a lot done in the first couple of hours before crowds get too crazy.

I think the only thing we've booked multiple FP+ for is TSMM and Peter Pan, and we're getting to ride everything we want.

We have found it hard to book FP+ a couple of times, since DH LOVES the thrill rides, and DD and I are pretty wimpy. We've just split up our FP+, booked DH on something he wants, and us on something in the same area, and then we meet up after.
