Linking Tickets to our Resort Stay

If we buy our tickets before we leave (discount through a statewide organization) can those tickets be linked to our room card? We have never been to DL and everything is really different from DW which we have visited dozens of times. I am not sure if I will print tickets at home or if they will be mailed to me or will call. We are staying at the Grand Californian. Any experience with tickets?

We have never been able to link tickets purchased from other sources to a DLR room key. We always have the military tickets, and even when we bought them from the Disneyland ticket booth in May, we could not link them to our DLH room key. The way they handle multi day tickets at DL is very different from WDW.

We bought our tickets at VGC and they were not linked. We had the plastic room key and the paper tickets.

It's very different at DL. I wouldn't worry about it as you can ask at checkin. The GC is really nice and there is a separate entrance to DCA right in the hotel. It is a huge hotel though and sometimes like a maze. Have fun.
