    Default Annual Pass Discounts

Until 4/30 there were discounts offered on the Premier Annual Passes that are good for DL and WDW. Any thoughts if this discount will be offered in the future? You have to buy these passes in person. We will be going to DL in late July and then DW next summer. It would be great to be able to buy these passes at the discounted rate! I just couldn't justify flying to FL to buy them before 4/30!

    They were available online...

You won't see it again this year, if memory serves me right it was offered about the same time last year as well.

I think the normal WDW AP is still discounted. The same price as the Premium one was offered for. The WDW/DW was limited time and has since expired.

The Premier Passes good for both parks we're only available for purchase at the parks.

I'm in the same boat as you, going to DL in June and WDW in Sep & Jan. If there is another special announced I don't think it would be until January. I voiced my disappointment over not being to order the Premier Pass a few times to MS but to no avail.

IMO since we need to show photo ID and our DVC card to pick up the passes it made no sense to me. They said it has to do with no tax on theme park tickets in DL??? So if I say I'm picking it up in DL and then pick it up in WDW charge me FL tax then, don't see the problem.

Wonder if then, using the same upgrade mentality we tell people to use for park upgrade...

Buy the WDW Premier AP at $484, use it, then upgrade at DL to the WDW/DL AP. Wouldn't you get credit for the current value of the WDW AP ($600+) towards the purchase of the coast to coast pass?

In effect maintaining SOME of the discount at least... I think when upgrading to an AP from a multiday ticket, your start date of the AP was the first day of use of the multiday ticket.

    Too late now though...

You will only get as much as you paid for the pass as "credit" towards an upgrade. They can easily tell how much you paid for a pass.
