    Question Honeymoon, here we come!

So I married my beautiful wife this past October, but we had to wait to go on our honeymoon. Well that day is just 16 short days away. We even have a Disney countdown calendar that we made to count the days . We received our MagicBands and even did some fastpassing of a few rides ahead of time. We are going for 10 days, so we can get in everything we want. We went last year for 8 days with another family and struggled to get through everything. My question though is regarding the Memory Maker option. Has anyone used this feature yet? If so, is it worth the money? Thank you so much for your responses in advance!

I used the old photopass system but have not used Memory Maker. For a special occasion such as your honeymoon, you might want to be able to capture special photos of you and your bridge together so, in your case, I would recommend using this service.

I'm the same as Faline. We have been big fans of the old photopass, just so we could get everyone in the pictures, and are planning to get the Memory Maker for the first time this summer.

I'd get it, you'll get some great pictures of the both of you. Especially if you let the photographer know it is your honeymoon, they will have some fun shots too!

We used it in December, purchased the package deal prior to our trip because it was limitless photos etc. It was our first trip with our SIL and we wanted to get photos with all four of us in the shot.

It was the best purchase I've ever made. The ride shots were worth the price if nothing else!

And easy...oh my gosh...just swipe my band and away we go!

Hope you have a GREAT trip.

We've done photopass in the past and I'm planning on getting the Memory Maker for our October trip. Especially since you'll be there for a special occasion I would definitely get it. We went to WDW for our honeymoon in 07 and I don't know if photopass was still really new or I just wasn't familiar with it so we didn't do the package. Some of my favorite shots from that trip were ones taken by the photopass photographers, and buying them individually really added up! I'd totally go for it!

Based on my experience with the old photopass system, I would echo what others have said. I wouldn't necessarily buy the option for every trip, but DEFINITELY get it for a special occasion.

We had are honeymoon at Disney and we have been hooked ever since. Congrats and have a great time.

As for memory maker I would get it for such a big life event like that. We only get it now when we are going with other families as we split the cost so we can enjoy all the great photos with everyone in the pictures. If it's just the 2 of you going you won't have many pictures with both of you in it unless you constantly ask people to take your pictures. Make sure to purchase ahead and get the discount.

Thanks so much for all of the input! We are super excited for this trip and will be sure to wear the Bride and Groom Ears for sure. We will be joined part way through the 10 day trip by my wife's Maid of Honor, so there will be lots of group pictures for sure. I will let you all know how it goes, and even provide a link to my website with pictures.
