Sharing Disney Visa Points

My stepmom has been earning points for a long time and I'm not really sure why. They've done Disney with us once out of obligation to their Grandkids and one other time they took their RV. She now has $800 saved up and wants to give each of the kids $100 and us the other $600. I didn't really think about it until she said the cards are in her name. Has anyone ever done this and is it allowed? I cannot see why not. They're hers to do with what she wants. Would prefer to just hand the card in asap to add to our account and not worry about losing it. I did a search and can't find the answer so I apologize if it's been discussed, which I'm sure somewhere it has. I'm now in countdown panic mode

I can't say for absolutely sure but I don't think it will be an issue. There is no name on the front of my redemption card. On my last visit, I used it and I lent it to others in my party to use a couple of times. The CMs just swiped it like a gift card and never asked for ID. The only possible snag I see is that I think she will only be able to transfer points to two redemption cards. So maybe one with $200 for the kids to share and the rest on the other card.

I believe she can also simply purchase Disney gift cards with those points and she can then give you the giftcard.
