Haven't been to Wilderness Lodge, but have to recommend Animal Kingdom Lodge as we're going there for the 3rd time! It's beautiful and of course, there's the animals!
I'm sure Wilderness Lodge is lovely as well! Have a wonderful vacation!

Well, the poll is 90% in favor of Wilderness Lodge. Looks like I picked right!
I do love the theming of both. What swayed me the most was the jogging trails, the access to boat rentals on the lake, the beach and closeness to magic kingdom.
Excited to get there now, 139 days to go

Both awesome places to stay. For me WL. Only because its only a 8 minute boat ride to the MK.

WL lodge for me - because I love the boat ride to the magic kingdom

Both are outstanding places to stay, but the choice for us is easily AKL. It's a bit more remote - we view that as a plus, but some will view it as a negative. We like the pools at AKL better, and the food choices at AKL are among our favorites at Disney. And yes, there is the peaceful opportunity to enjoy the wildlife at AKL.

Love the feel and atmosphere of WL. Other pluses are boat transportation to MK, CR, and FW (but especially MK). Wonderful pool, and great views over Bay Lake. The beach area is a lot of fun for my DS. We also love watching the water parade at night on Bay Lake. There's just something about this place that makes us feel relaxed as soon as we walk through the doors! Oh, and we love the mercantile!
