New AP

We have an upcoming trip in May and another in October. Our DD and SIL will be coming and will purchase a new annual pass now. We did call Disney customer service and were told they will get a code to link their FP's to since we cannot activate the passes til we get there. Since many CM have given out false advice I was wondering if anyone has done this recently? I know when it was still in the testing phase this was not something you could do but we were told it has changed. Thanks for any help.

I have read that people are now linking the AP code to DME so you should be set. The DME screens show all types of media you can now link so if you have a problem, just scroll through until you find the correct AP one.
