Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon - which do you like?
Just seeing which water park you would choose to spend the day at and why.

Typhoon Lagoon is the hands down favourite for my family. The swimming with the sharks attraction alone is worth the price of admission. My oldest son was able to do this for the first time on our most recent trip. He was 50% scared and 50% in awe but we did this 5 times!. Also the crush'n gusher is pretty awesome as well. If you only have time to hit one water park this is the one I would do for sure.

I like both pretty much equally. We always give both of them half a day on different days.

Typhoon lagoon for me. Blizzard Beach for my 18 year old boys!

Typhoon Lagoon is my favorite. TL wins for the wave pool, lazy river and crush and gusher. BB has a much better family raft ride though. Both are great water parks.

Okay it seems to be unanimous in favor of TL.
Sounds like we're be shifting water parks this year. I appreciate all of your valued input. It makes the experience that much better!

Each trip, we say we'll try Blizzard Beach, but each year Typhoon Lagoon wins out. No one wants to miss being there.
This year, we will try to make time for BOTH parks. Hopefully, BB lives up to TL. (That will be hard. TL is a great water park.)

We also like them both, and usually visit each at least once (with the Water Parks & More option) on each trip. I especially like the family sized raft ride at Blizzard Beach, Teamboat Springs, It is long with lots of big curves, the best family raft ride anywhere. BB also has the better tall thrill slides, like Summit Plummet and Slush Gusher. Typhoon Lagoon has the Crush 'n Gusher, which can't be beat, and Of course the BIg wave pool. Both have similar lazy rivers and multiple other slides and kiddie areas. For us it's well worth the time to visit them both. We have as much fun there as at the them parks.

Another vote for TL! We could spend hours just playing in the wave pool!

I love them both. Love crush and gusher, and swimming at the sharks at Typhoon Lagoon. And Blizzard Beach has some great slides. But my family loves the water and loves water parks so on our last two trips with the kids we spent a day at each park.

My DH and I choose TL hands down, for the tropical feeling/relaxation and the pool... our girls love BB b/c they have more slides. Both make us happy, but I'm definitely more of a TL girl!!
