Reserving multiple rooms near each other
Sitting with my hubby making plans for our September trip and all these questions keep coming up lol. We're planning on staying in AoA in September, it's going to be my DH and I, my parents, his parents and brother and sister, and one other couple. Is it possible to reserve rooms next door to each other? Do we have to be together when we make the reservation?

You can have your reservations marked as "traveling with" which should put you in close proximity to each other while not necessarily next door to each other. On once trip, when we were joining my brother, our reservation was marked this and our room was located a few doors down the hall from his.

Awesome, that would be perfect! As long as we're near by each other. Thanks!!

We had 5 rooms booked at Riverside for Thanksgiving. Three of the rooms were all side by side, one room was around the corner same building, and one room was across a walkway from the three rooms in a different building from everyone else, but very close. We just noted that we were all together when we made the reservations.

I've even had this situation:
At ASMo we reserved 4 separate rooms for 4 different family groups. The four families had arrival dates that were spread out over 5 days, no two on the same day. We had it noted that we were all together and requested rooms close together. Not only did they get us together, we ended up all four rooms in a row.
We checked in first and I did ask when we checked in. They wouldn't tell me the actual rooms that everyone else had been assigned (security reasons), but they smiled broadly and told me I'd be happy. We were.
What was interesting was that when we checked in, all the rooms around us were occupied. So it wasn't that the resort wasn't full. Someone went to some trouble to make this work for us.

You can request adjoining rooms, which are rooms next to each other. If you want to ask for rooms with an interior door between the rooms, request connecting rooms.
