Default Do-Over - Universal AP and Resort Discounts?

AP holders - have you booked a room with an AP discount? A 2 day park to park ticket is nearly as expensive as an AP - I'm wondering if one in our party should just buy one?? Is the discount any good? (the dates we are traveling are not blacked out)

    Hi there!
Yes, the Annual Passholder rates at the Universal hotels are usually very good. Of course, this depends on when you go, but we've received as much as $100/nt. off of the cost of the rooms at Royal Pacific with ours. Because of this reason, I always hold a Preferred Pass, and the rest of our party has the lower-cost Power Pass. We use my Preferred Pass to book the room. Only the Preferred and higher catagories qualify for the hotel discount at this time.

The easiest way for you to determine if it is worthwhile for you to buy the pass is to do some research on Loews' website. Choose your preferred hotel and travel dates and search without a discount code. Then, do the same search but choose 'promo' from the rate code and enter APH as the code. This will return the pass discounts.

I believe that you can book the room without having the pass, but you will need to show it when you check in.

    Have fun!
