need some info on hotel

hi I am going to FL.in March for a wedding in Daytona but I will have to stay in Fl three extra day after the wedding some we are going to go to disney.So question is has anyone stay at a hotel outside the park we have alway stay a pop century I'm trying to save some money sent i have to get a hotel in daytona too for the wedding

Looking for a cheap stay nearby?
Twice we stayed in Knights INN on 192 about a mile past WDW entrance. Nothing fancy, but clean and cost us around $40/nite back in 2010.
A bunch of restaurants in less than a 3 minute walk.

i dont drive so my first wdw trip we stayed at comfort inn because the had shuttles..it was a nightmare...on 2 to wdw and 2 returning...before fireworks or parade... hated it and stayed on property ever since.. to me the extra to stay on property is worth it... 1) transportation 2) length of stay tix 3) you wont have to pay for parking --some things to think about
may be cheaper to stay on property after all
