Default Question about Keys to the Kingdom/Columbia Harbour lunch

Hi all! We're going to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour in June and noted we get lunch at Columbia Harbour. Can anyone tell me if we get to order off the menu or if its a box-lunch type deal just for the tour? (This will be my first time eating there as well - any recommendations?)

    Thanks in advance!

We did the tour years ago on our honeymoon and we were only given a few options that they preordered for us. It was fried fish basket, chicken strips basket or a combo basket. It may have changed since then as that was 2002.

    Thumbs up

You review a menu and make your selection when you check-in for the tour.

When I did the tour last October, the options appeared to be most of the combo meals available at the Columbia Harbour House at that time.

We did the tour in 2007 and you were able to pre order off of a smaller version of the main menu. This was when I had my first Lighthouse Sandwich. The lunch was waiting for us in a roped off area of the second floor where our pkaces were marked with a name card and our key pins. There was more flexibility than in a box lunch situation.

We did the tour in October 2013 and it was a great time! The tour goes by quick even though it's 5 hours. There are some parts that are boring and some that are really interesting.

You order off the menu when you check in the morning of the tour (be sure to arrive early). They have a menu there from which to choose. The fish and chips are delicious and the tuna sandwich was great too. You will love the tour, everyone should do it at least once.

Thanks a ton everyone! That gives us an idea of what to expect foodwise (we have a picky eater in the bunch - as long as we have chicken on the menu, we're golden.)

Columbia Harbor House is one of our favorites and we go to it every year. This thread answered a question for me that I never asked as well. We have eaten there so many times over the years and have seen the area upstairs that is roped off and wondered why, but never inquired....now I know !!

We did the tour in December. Ordered off the smaller menu when you check in for your tour. When you arrive for lunch, the food is on the table and they have a name tag sitting with your food. So you don't chose your seat- they pick it for you. But they don't divide your party up.

    Have fun!

My family did the tour in '07 and as we checked in at City Hall, we were given menus and chose from that. We were all seated upstairs in a little closed off area and we were given key shaped pins as a souvenir of the tour. It was a great day and I hope you all enjoy it!
