When do Christmas decorations go up??

DW wants to see WDW done up for Christmas, but not do MVMCP. When do they go up, and how crowded are the parks in general at that time?

Partially. MK is mostly decorated by the first MVMCP, but the resorts (including the gingerbread houses) and other parks aren't completely finished until Thanksgiving week. The Candlelight Processional and Epcot Storytellers also don't start until Thanksgiving.

As for crowds, the Christmas season has gotten a lot more crowded. November isn't bad, but you miss some stuff. December isn't horrible, it's just more crowded than it used to be.
