He's out of surgery and doing very well. Still sedated, but everyone is very pleased so far! Thanks for all the positive energy!! Keep it coming please!
He's doing great, moved into a semi private room, vent is gone, and he's eating like a champ. They are calling him Superman because of how amazingly he's doing. There is a slim chance he could be home by the end of the week!

Glad to hear he is doing so well. I know from talking with many mom's at my Down syndrome parent group, that babies tend to handle these things very well. I am from Minnesota as well, not sure where the baby went but I know the Dr's at Minneapolis Children's Heart clinics are fantastic.
Pray the little guy is home real soon.

I'm so glad he's improving. What a scary thing to happen but there are miracles in medicine these days. And he sounds like he's got some extra powers helping him along.
