Does magical journeys work with the Disney cruise? What are the advantages of booking with a travel agent over booking directly with Disney? I am looking to cruise next August and I have cruised with disney before but always planned and booked directly with Disney.

We started using MJ years ago and have never made another Disney reservation without them.

So for us it was a no brainer to look to MJ when we booked our Christmas 2014 cruise on the Fantasy. The way I figure it is if we are spending thousands of dollars on a trip why leave anything to chance, use a professional travel agent and never worry about the little things.

110% agreed! We booked our first Christmas trip with them in Dec08' - did our own bookings before that. MJ impressed the HECK outt'a us!!! That very next May we booked our cruise thru them and land stay as well. AGAIN stellar performance.

Have never looked back since! They have taken all our yearly WDW and DCL trips since then.

They will keep an eye on your reservations and do a great job of notifying you for possible changes and savings as new offers come out.

You can save a little more booking a return cruise - while on a cruise. BUT once we do that, we cruise yearly; we immediately turn over our reservations to MJ for their watchful eye. We have the ships agent send our reservation to MJ while we are on the ship.

Far as booking on land, if you are not on a cruise already, I DOUBT you'll find a better agency than Magical Journeys for discounts and services provided.

The first time I used them was for our first DCL cruise several years ago, our upcoming cruise in March '14 and everything in between.

We have used MJ for many years for our non-DVC trips, so when we decided to book our first Disney cruise there was no question of handling it ourselves.
For us it was a huge help to have Terrisue just an email away for all the questions we had. She sure earned her commission that time.

It was such a good experience we have 2 more cruises booked thru MJ right now. A 4-day in early Jan 2014 & a 7-day in May 2014.

Book it ourselves...I don't think so!!

And don't forget what they charge for this awsome service NOTHING!!! No charge, zip, nada..... You get the drift. I can't rave enough about this group. Our helper is Kathy Peacock and what a gem. I used to be a do it yourselfer but no more. What would take me hours and a few drinks on the phone they can do in minutes.

I will never book directly with Disney for Cruise again unless we are using DVC points.

My Magical Journeys experience has been wonderful through 3 cruises. They take payments, look for discounts after you book, and are quick and excellent with their responses. My agent (Denise) once called me to say, "hey, they released a discount for XXXX today, are you interested." I was not but I can't believe the speed of their services.

I know they're a sponsor, I found them here at INTERCOT but I've used another TA for a trip once and the experience was horrible!

I don't get to use MJ because I book strictly dvc, but I recommended them to a friend from Texas this summer for their first wdw trip, and she was THRILLED!! She knew nothing of wdw and MJ took care of it all for them! She said that their agent even called out of the blue and said "I was able to adjust your reservation and save you over $150!" My friend said "do ppl like this really exist?! I never would have known the difference if a sale come on?" But that was enough to seal the deal and make her decide to use no one else on future trips! I'm jealous I can't use their services!
