Late Checkout?

Do they allow late checkout options or can you park the rig in a parking lot?

It's trivial to add days to the park passes, so I'm curious if we could add a 1/2 day to the last day and park the RV in the parking lot or something? When we stayed in resorts we often would move all our luggage to the car and spend a morning somewhere before driving home.

This may become a moot point, because this method requires a substantially more stressful drive for me back home... and that's without vacation adrenaline pumping in my system (like I would have on the way down before the trip!).

That's a very good question! If you were staying in a resort I would think that your parking pass would still be good for that day; regardless, you should be able to park at the Transporation and Ticket Center (although there may be a small fee)

Fort Wilderness has a lot avaiable at the Reception Outpost where you can park your rig after you check out but before you leave.
