MVMCP at Disneyland?

I have heard rumors elsewhere that Disneyland might do a "hard ticket" Christmas event like MVMCP at WDW. Anyone know if there is any legitimacy to these rumors?

These rumors seem to pop up every year. So far I have never heard about it from anywhere I would call reliable.

Personally I would like it to stay the way it is. Lots of holiday happenings all over both parks for everyone to attend.

My DD was sad when the Halloween fireworks went away and were set aside for attendees of Mickey's Halloween Party only. I'd hate to see something of this sort happen during the November/December season.

I wouldn't mind it. The one time I've ever actually been scared for my safety in a Disney park was during the Holiday festivities on Main Street the first weekend of December. Holy crowds! :crowds: If a party would keep the crowds comfortable, it's something I'd consider. I can see how locals would be opposed though.
