Grocery Follow Up Question

Does anyone know of a place that will delivery groceries to Disneyland like Strollers & Groceries does at Walt Disney World??

We are staying in a villa for 8 days and want to stock up on drinks, coffee, snacks, laundry stuff etc....

I don't know of any private firm that provides this service in the Disneyland area. Does DVC offer such a service for its members?

The best thing I can think of is to order from Vons. They have home delivery. I am just assuming they would deliver to GCH.

Or call me and I will shop for you and drive your groceries up from San Diego. Ha!

DVC does a grocery service but it's limited to the stuff found on-site. Not a big selection and not many brands.

I don't know--you might be surprised at the business you would get. In any case, it could start out home-based with one employee (guess who?) Seriously, I could shop for groceries for some side money--that would actually be fun.

Well, I'm sure I would have at least ONE yearly group of customers.

We'll see. Maybe something I'll think about if/when the time comes to move back there.

I have had Von's grocery delivery to GCH before. GCH received and stored my groceries for me as I was not at the hotel when they arrived. Worked well for us

Carol, they will not sign for alcohol. CA law is very strict about that, and requires a signature and ID check from the person accepting delivery. To my knowledge (i.e. last I heard), Disney will NOT take delivery of alcohol on your behalf. IF you schedule the delivery and plan to be there to meet them, you can order alcohol.
