Weather comparison - mid May vs early September
Any difference? Just got back two days ago and it was super hot/humid (yes, I know, it's Florida in May...duh). Next trip is just past labor day, should I expect the same or any different?

I'd say it's probably a bit worse in September.

I think worse in Sept, too.

Yes, it is slightly worse in September. In May you have an opportunity for it not to be so bad. I was there all last week (May 11-18) and it was very pleasant until Saturday (18th). A little warm, but not too hot and the humidity wasn't bad at all. But, I've also been during May with high humidity and Mid-90s. It's a bit hit and miss. In Sept, though, you can pretty much bank on low to mid 90s and higher humidity.
Also, honestly, perception plays a part of it. Being from the Deep South what seems very nice to me might seem hot and humid to you.

Yeah, this is probably part of the problem. In New England we're no strangers to humidity, but maybe not with 90+ temps all that often.
Thanks for the input everyone, about what I was expecting. For a second trip in one year, it has to be September to take advantage of value season, so I will just be prepared for it this time because I'll be expecting it

Was there September 2012 and it was HOT!!! Everyday it was in the 90's with awful humidity! We lucked out on rain, although I would've liked some with that heat. I am sticking to my gorgeous November weather from now on. I cannot tell you how many times I said that when I was there lol.
Been there, Haven't done it all...GOING BACK!!!
Next trip "Home" - September 3-10th 2016 at the Beach Club Resort! Giannas 1st trip to WDW!!!

I have lived in FL for 10 years now and I don't think I've ever seen a September that wasn't hot and humid. May is variable sometimes is is nice all the way to the end and sometimes it feels like summer.
In my opinion, Central Florida doesn't usually cool down until mid October.

For me, besides the holidays, these are my two favorite months to go. May seems less humid and rainy then September, but the low crowds in September is worth the heat and humidity to me. We will be going down over labor day this year. We normally go a little later but have AP's we want to get another trip out of. We like the end of September best because I feel it is a little less humid and hot. We then will be going down the second week of May for a 4 night cruise and 5 night WDW stay. Coming from the Pacific Northwest where summer does not come until usually late June, the heat and humidity in May feels good. As long as we are not there during the really hot and humid summer months we are happy!
