Default What have you bought on/for a Disney trip you would never wear at home?

What is the dumbest thing you bought on a Disney trip or for a Disney trip that you would never wear at home? Something you would only wear at Disney. I can see it being a lot of the different Disney hats.

One year I had bought a Disney Fanny Pack but never used anywhere but on a Disney trip. Haven't worn one in a while though.

I must say that it is the fanny pack as well. I like using it because I did not have to worry about losing thing out of my pockets.

Well my adult daughters have now decided that if I plan on taking it when going with them to WDW I can go by myself.

To keep the peace it was give a proper burial..

It's not dumb, But I bought a cross body coach bag just for the theme parks. I would never wear (have never worn) it at home. I know some people like them, I just don't care for the style on an everyday basis, but it's great for hands free at the parks!

Probably a charm bracelet with all the Disney charms - only have worn it while on vacation at Disney.

My cross body Dooney and Bourke bag has only been used in Disney. It's just not practical for me at home. I need more space than it offers. While I don't think it was a dumb purchase, I do wonder what DH would think if he knew how much I spent on a purse I only use in Disney.

Isn't Disney about the only place wearing a Fanny Pack still looks cool?

I did the same thing! I had every intention of using mine at home but it was just too small. It's perfect for the parks.

for me its two pairs of shorts. Only get worn in the world because a) its never warm enough here in Scotland and b) Disney World is the only place I am relaxed enough to be confident to wear them.

I use my 40th Anniversary crossbody everyday, it's got to be totally organized but somehow everything fits! First thing is to tuck the key fob piece into the zipper pocket because IMO it takes up too much room.

I have a pair of hoop earrings with crystal mickeys and my silver mickey head bracelet that I always wear on vacation.

LOL- nothing. Fashion over function for me. If I wouldn't be caught dead wearing it at home, it is the same anywhere else I go.

My Disney park rain poncho. I really wanted to wear it to work one rainy day, but my husband told me I would look like a goof. Oh well, I guess I'll break it out the next rainy day at Epcot.

I would agree rain poncho but we did wear them at Girl Scout camp.

My mother in law one year decided she needed a hat and just grabbed one off the shelf. When I asked her why she had gotten a hat with Mickey playing golf on it she said she didn't notice what was on the hat. Never would wear it again. And for all the trips we went on together she never wore a hat the other trips.

Viking horn hat from Norway, I really wanted a set but once I got them it was a nightmare to carry/pack, somehow we did get them home but they are a dust catcher with a pretty funny memory attached but thats about all. Maybe my boyfriend will wear em to one of our sci-fi cons with his kilt one day
