Marci, I feel the exact same thing you do, as we lost Dad on Wednesday night. As sad as I am, I'm just actually glad he's not suffering anymore. I'm certain both our Dad's are watching over us from heaven. My prayers are with you and your family.

Oh Scott, I am so sorry. This is one case where I can actually know how someone else feels. You are right... our dads are surely watching over us.
I take comfort in knowing my father can now walk again without his walker. He is bragging to my mom about my DD, and his 2 grandsons. They have 22 years of news to catch up on. I know that one day we will all be together again.

I am so very sorry, Marci. Your relief is understandable--it is difficult to see someone you love struggling at the end of their life.
