    Default I’m not on site…but this trip is pretty much free Pre-Trip Report!

    Hi all!

    I’m heading back April 20-25th. My best friend called me a few months back and asked if I would be interested in joining her for a conference she’s attending at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in DD. Her company is paying for our hotel, so it was kind of a no brainer!

    She will be tied up most days in class, so I have lots of park time to myself. I’m especially happy that I said yes now, considering it is April 12, we just got 6 inches of snow, and the high temps for the next 10 days aren’t supposed to be out of the 40’s. I’m so very ready to get to FL to break out the flip flops and short sleeves.

    I have plans to meet up with some other Intercotee’s, and I’m really excited about that. All of people I have met from this site have been amazing! Other than that, I don’t really have much planned. I know I will spend a lot of time in Epcot. I must see Wishes and Illuminations, as I haven’t seen either in a really long time. I have one ADR for lunch at Le Cellier, but I may cancel it. I’m just not sure I want to spend that much money for lunch, especially with the food options in Epcot for Flower and Garden available this year.

    I just did the conference tagalong thing, and I so much enjoyed my time alone in the parks. There's something so cool about moving at your own pace, doing what you want to do, observing things in a new way. I love being with people, of course, but experiencing it all on your own is pretty fantastic, too. Something everyone should do once, anyway. But then, I've always really enjoyed my own company.

    Have a ball (but don't lose your glass slippers)!

    I agree Sherri. I've taken more trip by myself lately and really loved just soaking it all in.
