Default Discovery Cove- Sans Dolphin Interaction

Has anyone done Discovery Cove? We debate this each trip if we want to go or not. If we did, it would simply be the day pass without the Dolphin interaction. We love Dolphins, but have done a swim with the Dolphins experience in the Bahamas. If anyone has gone, what are your thoughts on this place? Would it still be worthwhile to spend your day there without the Dolphin Experience?

My Wife & I have done twice . It's a total blast . The all inclusive deal is great . Food , Beverages all included . The Dolphin interaction is awesome an totally worth it . But in planning are 3rd trip there we have decided that she will swim with them an I will just kick back an take the pictures . It will be something you & your family will not forget!!

Thanks for the info! It does look fun. I saw the other activities available plus as you said food and drink included. I know the admission also allows you into Sea World for 14 days after, too. So there is alot included for the price.

We went to Discovery Cove and loved it. The price isn't bad when you factor the all inclusive food/drinks/parking and pass to Seaworld. If you are skipping the Dolphin swim it is even more cost effective. Where they get you is on the picture packages .
One other cool thing is that only a certain amount of people are admitted each day so it doesn't seem crowded.

    My trip report is below.

Thank you for sharing the link to your report- that was very helpful! I am going to have the husband read it tonight and decide. Do you remember, was all the water sort of that temperature? Aside from where the dolphins were? Do they provide wet suits for use for the other activities (snorkeling, lazy river)? Thank you again, that was so informative.

The dolphin lagoon and the ray reef are about 70 -75 degrees, everything else was much warmer. You are provided with a wet suit vest that you need to wear. I think you can rent a full suit, but I can't remember for sure. You will be given your snokeling gear after breakfast.

Glad the trip report helped. Discovery Cove was a great experience.
